Cellular Therapy Account Director – Mid-Atlantic

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Spearhead initiatives for disease awareness and foster relationships with both clinical and non-clinical experts to gain insights into unmet needs and the patient journey.

• Oversee the onboarding procedures for the introduction of an allogeneic cell therapy.

• Navigate intricate account environments, collaborating with medical, value and access, and cell therapy operations teams.

• Leverage customer insights and analytical data to craft and implement strategic account plans.

• Provide treatment center personnel with training to streamline processes and enhance operational workflows.

• Carry out disease-state education, site-of-care onboarding, market mapping, and research activities during the pre-approval phase.

• Identify and engage with medical experts in cell therapy, bone marrow transplantation, lymphoma, and solid organ transplantation.

• Comprehend the processes of cell therapy and transplant centers, mapping the requirements for onboarding.

• Inform physicians about disease severity, unmet medical needs, standard care practices, and the patient journey.

• Develop and maintain comprehensive site account plans.

• Coordinate with various functions to ensure a seamless customer experience and prompt access to Tab-cel Ebvallo.

• Analyze institutional operations, patient flow, and referral networks.

• Implement territory business plans with account-specific KPIs and strategies.

• Collaborate with service line directors, administrators, coordinators, pharmacy committees, transplant administrators, and medical societies.

• Work alongside marketing to create US promotional materials.

• Cultivate relationships with key commercial stakeholders within targeted institutions.

• Support professional meetings, including staffing exhibits, reporting on scientific sessions, and organizing medical expert meetings.

• Foster collaboration with field teams, market access, medical affairs, and cell therapy technical operations.

• Promote Tab-cel Ebvallo competently through expertise in EBV+ PTLD, product knowledge, and clinical experience post-approval.

• Share insights on accounts, healthcare professional trends, business shifts, and changes in the therapeutic landscape.

• Encourage appropriate product utilization and educate stakeholders on the efficacy and safety of Tab-cel.

• Create a sense of urgency to treat suitable patients utilizing approved promotional materials.

• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned based on changing business demands.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree.

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in the biopharma sector.

• Extensive expertise in cell or gene therapy service lines.

• Proven experience working in a collaborative and complex matrix environment.

• Ability to grasp and communicate complex treatment modalities.

• High scientific aptitude demonstrated through past roles.

• Sales experience in ultra-rare diseases, preferably in CGT.

• Capability to access and manage business information in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and Pierre Fabre policies.

• A strong desire to make a positive impact on patients' lives.

• Experience launching products in a high-acuity therapeutic area like ultra-rare diseases (preferred).

• Pre-existing relationships in cell therapy, bone marrow transplantation, and solid organ transplantation service lines (preferred).

• Experience managing extensive geographical areas (preferred).

• Background in rare oncology and/or transplant settings (preferred).

• Proven track record of successful account management in large academic institutions (preferred).

• Must be remote in the US, with regular daily and overnight travel within the assigned territory, up to 70%.

• Compliance with all US state and federal regulations is mandatory.
