This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
β’ Build and sustain business partnerships with third-party service providers involved in clinical trials.
β’ Execute the vendor governance program strategy for Worldwide.
β’ Track, assess, and report on compliance rates and program effectiveness.
β’ Assist study teams in addressing vendor performance challenges.
β’ Collaborate across functions to address vendor-related quality issues and oversee the implementation of CAPA plans.
β’ Evaluate and measure vendor performance through scorecards, satisfaction surveys, and KPIs provided by vendors.
β’ Record, assess, and report on strategies and vendor performance metrics.
β’ Encourage collaboration among vendors and foster a unified team culture to achieve operational excellence.
β’ Identify ongoing improvement opportunities with key vendors.
β’ Implement a metrics program based on service categories for standardized oversight of category management.
β’ Organize and promote training sessions and workshops led by vendors.
β’ Assist in vendor evaluations and maintain records of assessment, qualification status, and audit certificates.
β’ Act as a representative of Vendor Management during Sponsor qualification audits.
β’ Oversee and manage risks associated with outsourced services through Vendor Risk Mitigation Plans.
β’ Carry out additional responsibilities supporting Vendor Management Leadership.
β’ Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively at all organizational levels across a global context.
β’ Strong attention to detail.
β’ Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.
β’ Familiarity with Trackwise, Salesforce, Sciforma, or similar database systems is a plus.
β’ Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is essential.
β’ Capable of working under pressure, handling multiple tasks, and adhering to tight deadlines.
β’ Experience in managing vendor performance and related improvement initiatives.
β’ Knowledge and application of continuous improvement methods and practical lean manufacturing implementation.
β’ Proven relationship management skills at both executive and operational levels.
β’ High level of accuracy and the ability to deliver results within strict timelines.
β’ BA/BS degree in Business Administration or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
β’ At least 3 years of experience in vendor management is a must.
β’ Experience in the Pharmaceutical/CRO industry is preferred.
