This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Develop and implement the growth strategy for the apparel segment within the platform.
β’ Take responsibility for category-level performance encompassing supply, engagement, and revenue.
β’ Set quarterly objectives, lead indicators, and operational rhythms.
β’ Maintain a thorough and up-to-date understanding of apparel culture, including sellers, creators, designers, brands, retailers, sub-segments, seasonal releases, collaborations, cultural events, pricing dynamics, liquidity, and resale economics.
β’ Act as the internal representative of the apparel community, guiding product, marketing, and platform decisions.
β’ Build and manage a pipeline of impactful apparel sellers, shops, designers, influencers, brands, and creators.
β’ Recruit and onboard flagship sellers.
β’ Develop strategies for sellers that balance credibility, storytelling, and commerce.
β’ Identify and organize Fashion and Apparel moments, campaigns, and formats that enhance engagement and conversion.
β’ Collaborate with Category Marketing on culturally relevant activations.
β’ Experiment with innovative approaches and iterate based on performance and feedback.
β’ Work alongside Account and Partnerships Managers to scale seller acquisition and provide support.
β’ Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to shape relevant features and tools.
β’ Provide market insights to impact roadmap prioritization.
β’ Document insights, frameworks, and best practices for future categories.
β’ Assist in defining category ownership standards at StockX.
β’ Support the hiring and onboarding process as the apparel category team expands.
β’ Strongly connected to second-hand fashion and apparel culture, with knowledge of key players, platforms, trends, and economics.
β’ Over 5 years of experience in category management, partnerships, marketplace growth, brand, or operational roles in apparel, streetwear, fashion, or similar ecosystems.
β’ Comfortable taking ownership of outcomes, executing plans, iterating, and adapting as needed.
β’ Proven ability to build strong relationships with sellers, creators, designers, and community members.
β’ Proficient in data analysis and commercially minded, with a good grasp of pricing, margins, liquidity, and incentives.
β’ Entrepreneurial spirit and resourceful, excited by building initiatives from the ground up.
β’ Established network within apparel resellers, brand operators, designers, boutiques, or creators (preferred).
β’ Experience in buying and selling apparel or operating within resale or fashion marketplaces (preferred).
β’ Familiarity with content-driven commerce, creator platforms, or enthusiast communities (preferred).
β’ Experience working collaboratively with product and engineering teams (preferred).
β’ Background in running your own business or startup (preferred).
