This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Act as the primary business leader and subject matter authority for vendor management processes within the Casualty Claims Operations.
• Supervise and evaluate vendor performance to ensure adherence to service level agreements, customer experience benchmarks, and operational expectations are consistently met.
• Create, maintain, and report on vendor performance metrics, scorecards, and operational outcomes.
• Establish and nurture robust relationships with external vendors and internal business stakeholders.
• Lead and oversee change management initiatives across various operational areas, including vendor onboarding and offshore engagement activities.
• Collaborate with vendors on workforce planning and resource management to support demand forecasts and enhance operational efficiency.
• Coordinate vendor audits, reviews, and compliance activities to ensure compliance with contractual obligations, regulatory standards, and operational criteria.
• Manage multiple projects concurrently while balancing everyday operational priorities.
• Review and resolve internal and external escalations related to vendor performance and service delivery.
• Conduct regular business reviews with vendor partners to highlight successes, tackle challenges, and promote continuous improvement.
• Analyze financial performance and provide recommendations to enhance vendor value and operational efficiency.
• Identify opportunities for expanding vendor programs and propose innovative solutions that align with business goals.
• Work alongside internal stakeholders, external vendor partners, procurement teams, and business leaders to support the growth and optimization of the casualty vendor program.
• Experience in vendor management, operations, claims, or a related business area.
• Understanding of procurement processes, contract management, and vendor governance practices.
• Experience in the Accident Benefits and/or Bodily Injury insurance sector, especially within Claims Operations.
• Proven track record in managing vendor relationships and monitoring operational performance metrics.
• Experience in leading cross-functional initiatives and collaborating with multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to present business results and recommendations to leadership teams effectively.
• Skilled in analyzing operational data and translating insights into actionable recommendations.
• Experience with resource planning, forecasting, and performance management.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
• Experience with Guidewire ClaimCenter or comparable claims platforms.
• CIP designation or progress towards CIP, ACIP, CRM, or FCIP designation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Equivalent combinations of education and relevant experience will be taken into account.
