This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee Cluster operations to implement best practices for cash collections and reconciliation within Home Health & Hospice agencies.
• Collaborate with Revenue Cycle Portfolio Leaders to establish, track, and uphold best practices.
• Work alongside billers, Revenue Cycle Portfolio Leaders, and Service Center AR resources to enhance a top-tier AR function.
• Hold Executive Directors and Revenue Cycle Portfolio Leaders accountable for collection strategies and processes.
• Provide assistance for cash posters during short-term or unforeseen absences.
• Collaborate with Executive Directors and/or Revenue Cycle Portfolio Leaders to train Cash Posters.
• Foster collaborative relationships with Portfolio Billers and Collectors.
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of payor contracts and ensure collections align with contract stipulations.
• Stay informed on Medicare and Medicaid billing regulations and act as a resource for agency staff.
• Partner with Executive Directors, AR Market Leaders, Billers, and Billing Managers on payor initiatives.
• Attend Agency BAM meetings to identify and report on collections received.
• Review, investigate, and post various types of funds on a daily basis.
• Prepare cash reports and perform daily reconciliations.
• Address discrepancies by coordinating with internal teams.
• Conduct monthly research and resolution of unidentified cash accounts.
• Manage automated payment files and address exceptions.
• Minimum of five years’ experience in cash posting.
• At least three years’ experience in health care billing and collections management, with a preference for home health and/or hospice operations.
• Proficiency with eClinical Works, HCHB, and Excel is mandatory.
• Capability to exercise discretion and independent judgment.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and public relations skills.
• Proven ability to manage detailed information accurately.
• Ability to work tactfully and collaboratively with colleagues, peers, service center personnel, referral sources, and payers.
