This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Oversee projects and/or cases assigned to you.
• Follow established company procedures.
• Execute call-center programs and deliver telephone assistance to patients, healthcare providers, and funding organizations.
• Address funding and access challenges, which include private, public, special access programs, and compliance-related initiatives.
• Manage and comply with case-management protocols, which encompass clinical monitoring, data gathering, patient follow-ups, compliance, therapy interruption/discontinuation oversight, adverse event reporting, and collaboration with primary healthcare providers.
• Carry out pharmaceutical and biotechnology market research projects involving physicians, patients, pharmacists, and allied health professionals.
• Conduct a high volume of outbound calls as part of patient programs.
• Record every activity in program-specific databases.
• Participate in refresher and specialized training sessions.
• Provide insights on protocols, databases, processes, and inter-departmental interactions.
• Relay case-management information to managers, pods, and program-trained colleagues during absences.
• Engage in training new caseworkers, including shadowing and monitoring calls.
• Report all adverse events to the designated units/departments.
• Carry out additional duties and responsibilities as needed.
• A High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience is required.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in reimbursement support, patient services, customer operations, healthcare support services, case coordination, claims support, or a similar field is necessary.
• Certification in reimbursement support, patient access, customer support, service management, customer relationship management systems, or process improvement is preferred.
