This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Honduras.
β’ Assume responsibility for assigned personal injury cases from the post-intake stage through to settlement and case closure.
β’ Initiate insurance claims, liaise with carriers, and confirm or obtain relevant policy limits.
β’ Facilitate medical treatment and assist clients in connecting with suitable providers or specialists based on their injuries and case requirements.
β’ Oversee treatment progress and manage cases with an understanding of available insurance coverage and policy limits.
β’ Request, collect, monitor, and review medical records, bills, insurance documents, and other relevant case materials.
β’ Actively identify necessary next steps for each file and ensure cases advance without unnecessary delays.
β’ Maintain regular communication with clients, medical providers, insurance representatives, and internal team members.
β’ Prepare cases for demand by organizing supporting documents and assisting with or drafting demand packages and letters.
β’ Aid in the settlement process, including matters related to policy-limit tenders, and ensure files are appropriately prepared for closure.
β’ Assist with lien reductions when necessary, with additional firm support available for this task.
β’ Previous hands-on experience in U.S. personal injury pre-litigation case management.
β’ Strong understanding of the complete personal injury pre-litigation lifecycle, with a preference for candidates with over 3 years of experience.
β’ Demonstrated ability to independently initiate, manage, progress, settle, and close personal injury cases.
β’ Experience in opening insurance claims, investigating coverage, and confirming or obtaining policy limits.
β’ Comprehensive knowledge of medical treatment coordination, medical records and bills, and ongoing case progression.
β’ Experience in preparing personal injury cases for demand, including the organization of documentation and assistance in drafting demand packages.
β’ Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, along with the reliability and judgment to work independently with minimal supervision.
β’ Experience in negotiating or assisting with lien reductions is preferred.
β’ Familiarity with Clio or another legal case management platform is preferred.
β’ Experience in handling policy-limit tenders and settlement documentation is preferred.
