This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Execute high-volume outbound calls to patients regarding their results and conduct post-visit appointment reviews within specified SLAs.
• Deliver lab results, follow-up instructions, and next steps with accuracy and timeliness.
• Offer clinical and administrative assistance before, during, and after patient appointments.
• Validate laboratory tests, confirm documentation, and ensure that visits are prepared for in-home care delivery.
• Accurately upload and manage clinical documents in a timely manner.
• Monitor and track lab results and imaging reports using Quest and other clinical applications.
• Raise clinical concerns or documentation discrepancies as necessary.
• Act as a liaison among patients, providers, and internal clinical and administrative teams to promote continuity of care.
• Keep the provider directory updated, including fax numbers where applicable.
• Collaborate with health system and health plan partners to obtain missing appointment information and provide updates.
• Manage medical records while ensuring adherence to HIPAA regulations.
• Observe workflows, identify inefficiencies, and assist in process enhancements.
• Adjust to revised SOPs, tools, and priorities as the organization grows.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a clinical healthcare setting.
• Familiarity with HIPAA, patient privacy regulations, and basic medical terminology.
• Proven experience in communicating with physicians’ offices, hospitals, labs, and clinics through phone and email.
• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other healthcare-related software.
• Highly skilled with Mac OS, Slack, Google Workspace, Zoom, and ticketing systems such as Zendesk.
• Demonstrated experience managing high-volume outbound patient calls, including result delivery and post-visit follow-ups, while meeting established SLAs or productivity benchmarks.
• Outstanding organizational capabilities and meticulous attention to detail when handling PHI and clinical documentation.
• Strong written communication skills for precise and clear documentation.
• Capability to adapt to shifting priorities and work efficiently in a dynamic environment.
• Self-driven with strong follow-through, accountability, and ownership of responsibilities.
• Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Preferred: Experience with EMR systems; familiarity with Elation is advantageous.
• Preferred: Experience using Zendesk or similar ticketing systems.
• Preferred: Experience in results delivery with knowledge of clinical workflows and documentation needs.
• Preferred: Background in a fast-paced startup, on-demand service, or rapidly evolving healthcare environment.
