This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Develop, oversee, and take ownership of the capital maintenance strategy for facility mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and life/safety systems.
β’ Ensure that facilities are operated and maintained in a cost-effective, safe, efficient, and high-quality manner.
β’ Provide technical guidance for the preventative maintenance program.
β’ Ensure that critical and major technical tasks adhere to codes, building standards, insurance requirements, and client/owner specifications.
β’ Manage the VFA system along with the introduction or modification of equipment within the system.
β’ Evaluate operations, maintenance, and capital enhancements for life safety, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and elevator systems.
β’ Offer leadership and management support to facility management and technicians responsible for daily operations and maintenance.
β’ Control and project budgets for contracts and major operations related to critical functions.
β’ Report any abnormal or critical conditions to C&W Facility Management and the General Manager.
β’ Review plans for new or upgraded equipment, infrastructure, and building enhancements.
β’ Develop and present training methods, materials, and programs associated with VFA and related technologies.
β’ A four-year college degree is required.
β’ A degree in Business or Facilities Management is preferred.
β’ A license is not required.
β’ A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in account management, facilities operations, analytics, and planning is necessary.
β’ Strong familiarity and working knowledge of critical equipment are essential.
β’ In-depth technical knowledge of electrical systems, electrical generation/distribution, HVAC, IT systems and environments, environmental regulations, local building codes, fire and safety systems, as well as preventive and predictive maintenance, and diagnostic equipment is required.
β’ Excellent communication skills, including the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences, are essential.
