This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +3 more states.
• Act as the primary contact for comprehensive commercialization, sales, and capital program management for DePuy Synthes Spine capital platforms.
• Create and implement quarterly business strategies for targeted accounts in collaboration with local Spine field sales and SCG leadership.
• Cultivate relationships with clinical and economic leaders to comprehend customer requirements, capital acquisition cycles, and technology procurement preferences.
• Recognize and capitalize on capital sales and program opportunities within the designated territory.
• Develop capital solutions, including rentals, leases, and share shifts, in conjunction with the Program Office, Deal Desk, Finance, SCG, and field sales teams.
• Present and negotiate capital pricing and program performance terms with clients.
• Assist new clients in the clinical adoption of selected technologies.
• Enable clients to meet clinical and economic objectives while enhancing customer satisfaction and retention.
• Maintain expert knowledge of assigned capital equipment, industry trends, and market conditions, and complete the required training.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and business partners to devise customer- and product-specific sales strategies.
• Accurately and promptly report complaints and technical issues according to established procedures.
• Be prepared to travel on short notice to assist customers with technical product or service inquiries.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant federal, state, and local regulations, including HIPAA and Sunshine Act guidelines.
• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree, or 8 years of relevant professional work experience or 8 years of military experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in capital equipment sales, marketing, or commercialization.
• A valid Driver’s License is required.
• Capability to learn and convey technical product and clinical disease-state knowledge to surgeons and economic buyers.
• Experience with highly complex technical systems and/or in a critical patient care environment.
• Willingness to travel extensively up to 75%, including overnight stays within the assigned territory.
• Required to work in a hospital or ASC setting and attend live patient cases as necessary.
• Must wear appropriate protective gear, such as lead aprons.
• Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods and lift/move products weighing up to 60 lbs.
• A self-starter and critical thinker capable of performing in high-pressure situations.
• Ability to accept constructive feedback and collaborate effectively in a matrix team environment.
