Campaign Director

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Switzerland.

📋 Description

• Conduct research, conceptualize, develop, and execute national and international campaigns for Switzerland.

• Keep track of local and global events to uncover timely campaign opportunities.

• Collaborate with experts to assist in the development of strategy, policy, and messaging.

• Prepare, proofread, and edit campaign emails and marketing communications.

• Create and refine AI prompts for written communications.

• Locate pertinent supporting materials from press releases, NGOs, and reputable sources.

• Communicate with supporters in Switzerland regarding campaign progress and outcomes.

• Suggest and organize offline activities, such as advertising, public petition deliveries, and campaign initiatives.

• Manage German-language briefings, press releases, and research documentation.

• Engage in public speaking and media engagements as required.

• Foster relationships with influencers, journalists, activists, and like-minded organizations.

• Translate global campaigns and emails from English to the local language when applicable.

• Handle member correspondence, consultations, polling, and feedback initiatives.

• Contribute to shaping organizational strategy and assist in recruitment, team building, management, and special projects.

• Provide guidance to Media Campaigners on offline events and campaign-related performances; attend events and take responsibility for offline actions when needed.

• Oversee, manage, and assist with member petitions on the CitizenGO Petitions website.

• Monitor website functionality and ensure language accuracy.

• Train and support a Campaign Associate, organize list strategy, and collaborate on growth, engagement, and brand visibility efforts.

• Report directly to the Manager of Global Campaigns.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be based in Switzerland.

• Native German speaker.

• Willingness to travel for offline (on-site) events once a month.

• At least B2-level proficiency in English; non-natives must provide a Duolingo English Test score with a minimum of 100.

• Proficiency in Spanish and other languages is advantageous.

• Extensive experience with software tools and a quick ability to learn and adapt to new technologies.

• Strong strategic, creative, and innovative thinking abilities.

• Capacity to analyze socio-political landscapes, develop intricate ideas, and communicate them effectively.

• Solid grasp of civic advocacy, citizen mobilization, and grassroots campaigning.

• Passionate and deeply committed to upholding life, family, and freedom.

• High level of professionalism, self-motivation, efficiency, and results-oriented focus.

• Excellent teamwork skills and comfort in a collaborative team culture within a hierarchical structure.

• Robust project and staff management capabilities.

• Competent in working autonomously on diverse tasks and projects while prioritizing effectively.

• Proactive attitude and initiative.

• Strong computer skills at the user level; experience with Google Workspace preferred; familiarity with CRM and project management tools is a plus.

• Flexible schedule and capacity to work under tight deadlines, including evenings, weekends, and occasional travel.

• Previous experience in copywriting and marketing content is considered a benefit.

• Familiarity with AI tools for generating emails, communications, and written materials is an asset.
