C-UAS RF Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Conduct RF link budget evaluations, propagation modeling, and spectrum analysis.

• Develop RF links and waveforms that ensure secure and dependable tactical data communication.

• Integrate radios, antennas, and transceivers within a secure network framework.

• Address interference, jamming, and electronic warfare challenges; create anti-jam and frequency-agile solutions.

• Enhance RF link latency, throughput, and reliability for remote monitoring and management.

• Assist with RF testing, EMI/spectrum compliance, and field/range assessments.

• Contribute RF insights to RMF/ATO security requirements and evaluations.

• Deliver RF analysis and suggestions during technical interchange meetings.

• Keep the RF sections of system documentation up to date.

• Collaborate closely with systems, software, and cybersecurity teams in an Agile setting.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, RF Engineering, or Communications Engineering.

• Over 8 years of experience in RF engineering.

• Active Secret clearance with the capability to secure a Top Secret clearance.

• Proficient in RF link analysis, propagation modeling, and spectrum management.

• Practical experience in RF hardware/system design and integration.

• Understanding of electronic warfare threats and anti-jam RF design techniques.

• Familiarity with RF testing equipment, such as spectrum/network analyzers and signal generators.

• Knowledge of Department of Defense cybersecurity and spectrum management standards.

• Excellent RF technical writing skills and the ability to present to government stakeholders.
