Business/Process Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Map out business processes from the initial trigger or input to the final outcome and ownership.

• Decompose processes into steps, responsibilities, decision points, business rules, edge cases, data, and systems.

• Identify interdependencies between systems and processes.

• Develop and maintain clear, structured, and reusable process documentation.

• Create and uphold a consistent company knowledge base.

• Recognize processes that can be simplified, redesigned, or automated.

• Analyze the business impact of enhancements, including time savings, reduced manual tasks, fewer errors, and lower costs.

• Design and iteratively refine TO-BE processes in collaboration with process owners.

• Collaborate with the technical team throughout development and testing phases.

• Validate the implementation of business logic and address newly identified rules and edge cases.

• Continuously update processes and documentation as business and systems evolve.

• Measure the effectiveness of process improvements in delivering anticipated results.

• Utilize AI to structure interviews, create initial process maps, identify missing information and contradictions, organize rules and edge cases, analyze processes, pinpoint automation opportunities, and maintain the knowledge base.

⛳️ Requirements

• Prior experience in Business Analysis, Process Analysis, or Systems Analysis.

• Proficiency in breaking down and structuring complex business processes.

• Capability to identify missing rules, exceptions, and contradictions.

• Comfortable operating at the intersection of business, data, and IT systems.

• End-to-end process thinking skills.

• Understanding of how process design relates to implementation and business outcomes.

• Interest in process automation and optimization.

• Active utilization of AI tools to enhance efficiency and quality of work.
