This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Provide overall leadership, strategic direction, and performance management for the healthcare business unit.
• Develop and implement the strategic plan for the business unit in alignment with company objectives.
• Identify and leverage growth opportunities, market trends, and competitive insights.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to establish and monitor KPIs.
• Oversee and optimize the various sub-functions within the business unit.
• Work with cross-functional teams to enhance productivity, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
• Partner with the VP of Sales on strategic initiatives aimed at driving revenue and market expansion.
• Manage the business unit's P&L to ensure financial targets are achieved or surpassed.
• Develop and supervise annual budgets and forecasts.
• Implement cost control measures and operational enhancements.
• Perform competitive analyses of the company's and competitors' product offerings.
• Drive revenue growth by pursuing new business opportunities.
• Strategize and lead sales and marketing initiatives.
• Collaborate with the sales team on product sales strategies.
• Mentor and develop talent while supporting succession planning.
• Establish goals, performance metrics, and accountability standards.
• Promote collaboration and innovation across departments.
• Provide strategic guidance and support to subordinates.
• Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction and proactive engagement with clients.
• Build and maintain relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders.
• Act as a liaison between internal teams and external partners.
• Address client concerns and ensure prompt resolution of issues.
• Identify opportunities for operational efficiency and implement best practices.
• Support digital transformation and data-driven decision-making processes.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
• Prepare reports and performance metrics for senior leadership review.
• Develop and maintain processes, procedures, and supporting documentation.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
• Serve as backup for creating and maintaining project quotations.
• Provide expert-level technical, application, and installation support for products.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited university (BSEE preferred).
• Over 10 years of experience in progressive leadership roles such as sales, product management, or business development, specifically in providing Engineered to Order technical equipment and/or services (non-commodity) to critical infrastructure sectors.
• Experience within the healthcare segment, particularly in hospitals and ambulatory surgery centers, is preferred.
• Proven track record in selling/providing products to the USA, Latin America, and Canada.
• Familiarity with the functional application of low voltage electrical distribution equipment according to country-specific requirements.
• Ability to interpret electrical schematic drawings, panel schedules, and specifications.
• Comprehensive knowledge of application and product regulatory requirements, including NEC, NFPA 99, UL, and CSA.
• At least 5 years of experience with ERP systems' Sales and Material Management modules; SAP is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience with CRM systems; Salesforce is preferred.
• Familiarity with electrical safety equipment for personnel protection is preferred.
• Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and leadership skills.
• A proven history of meeting financial and operational goals.
• Knowledge of digitalization, automation, and data analytics.
• In-depth understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements within the industry.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
• Proficient in concepts, practices, and procedures across various disciplines.
• Exceptional communication, influencing, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Demonstrates high integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
• Self-motivated with a high-energy, results-driven approach.
• Capable of managing multiple priorities effectively.
