This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Configure and uphold business systems tailored to user requirements and operational needs.
• Act as a business systems consultant, ensuring that solutions align with business goals and processes.
• Suggest configuration modifications, enhancements, and process refinements.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, vendors, and implementation partners to translate requirements into effective system solutions.
• Serve as the main point of contact for inquiries, guidance, and support regarding business systems.
• Deliver project updates, status reports, and risk communications to leadership and stakeholders.
• Drive business system change initiatives from initial planning through to implementation.
• Create project plans, timelines, deliverables, system documentation, process guides, release notes, and knowledge resources.
• Conduct change management activities and provide training for end-users.
• Offer production support and troubleshooting; resolve or escalate system-related issues as necessary.
• Monitor system performance and recommend areas for improvement.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), validation, release management, and post-deployment stabilization.
• Evaluate the impacts of changes on applications, processes, data flows, reporting, and analytics.
• Assist in integration planning, testing, and deployment efforts.
• Work collaboratively on user access management, role-based security, governance, compliance, audits, and system controls.
• Act as the functional and technical owner for ecosystems related to Quote-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, expense management, and Revenue Recognition processes.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in Business Systems and Administration.
• Familiarity or experience with Finance/Accounting platforms such as NetSuite, Avalara, Coupa, Zip, Navan, or similar systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Eagerness to continue professional growth through experience, study, and certification.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
• Strong comprehension of Finance and Accounting processes, including GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Intercompany Transactions, and Financial Close.
• Practical knowledge of Quote-to-Cash and Procure-to-Pay processes.
• Understanding of SaaS business models, subscription billing, contract amendments, usage-based billing, revenue recognition, and customer lifecycle management.
• Experience in supporting financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and operational planning through integrated business systems.
• Ability to convert accounting policies, operational requirements, and audit controls into scalable system configurations.
• Strong grasp of financial controls, segregation of duties, SOX requirements, audit readiness, and governance.
• Experience in defining business requirements, documenting current and future-state processes, performing gap analysis, and developing solution designs.
• Familiarity with UAT, release validation, and change management for critical financial systems.
• Working knowledge of corporate business systems, including CRM, marketing automation, PRM, CMS, and ERP tools.
• Understanding of iPaaS solutions like Jitterbit and Boomi, with integration experience involving NetSuite, Adaptive, Pigment, Avalara, Workday, Navan, and Zip.
• Familiarity with Business Operations practices, including Quote to Cash, Sales, and Marketing Demand Generation.
• Strong analytical and abstract reasoning capabilities.
• Foundational project management skills.
• Background checks are mandatory.
• Offer may be contingent on authorization to receive software or technology controlled under U.S. export control laws, if applicable.
• Experience in the SaaS/high-tech industry is preferred.
• Background in the cybersecurity industry is preferred.
• NetSuite Suite Foundation Certification is preferred.
