This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Record the requirements of Broker Dealers and Third-Party Financial Technology (FinTech) while maintaining a system for client and firm documentation.
• Observe and document the technology needs of firms, custodians, and FinTech partnerships.
• Ensure that systems and relationships function properly and enhance support technology when necessary.
• Maintain cross-references and control protocols for specific firm and FinTech requirements.
• Raise issues related to file failures and remediation between Ultimus and firms or FinTechs.
• Automate the manual login processes performed by Ultimus associates at FinTechs.
• Manage media transfers via SFTP to firms that require them.
• Organize tasks related to significant corporate action events for large firms or FinTechs and oversee Alternatives-side cleanups across teams.
• Execute regular data cleanup procedures and controls for essential data elements.
• Coordinate and implement controls to ensure accurate purchase and redemption warehouse calendars for periodic products.
• Support Dealer Services with communications and announcements regarding repurchases and tenders.
• Create and activate reporting for firms and FinTechs.
• Establish ongoing relationships and communication with the top 10–20 firms and FinTechs in the Retail Alternatives sector.
• Issue recurring executive updates internally and marketing communications to firms.
• Collaborate with Operations and Dealer Services to fulfill the service requirements of firms and FinTechs.
• Execute additional duties as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, information technology, or a related discipline.
• 0–3 years of experience within the mutual fund industry.
• Equivalent education and experience will be taken into account.
• Familiarity with shareholder recordkeeping systems, reporting procedures, and data delivery methods.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat.
• Ability to troubleshoot using creative and critical thinking abilities.
• Skills in multitasking, analysis, and organization.
