This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Analyze business challenges and determine automated solutions, processes, and procedures.
• Offer technical expertise in identifying, assessing, and developing cost-efficient systems and procedures.
• Develop system specifications that fulfill business requirements.
• Configure system settings and options as necessary.
• Plan and carry out unit, integration, and acceptance testing.
• Consult with users regarding automated systems.
• Lead cross-functional teams to address business or systems issues.
• Review design proposals and provide feedback to ensure alignment with business requirements.
• Ensure that application systems meet user needs, objectives, processes, and business strategies.
• Offer consultation on complex projects as a senior contributor/specialist.
• Contribute to the establishment and review of departmental delivery policies and procedures.
• Provide mentorship to other BSA resources as a subject matter expert and/or project lead.
• Guide the implementation of new business processes that support system changes.
• Ensure that integrated system and production support are adequately established.
• Oversee and assist BSAs and business partners with daily application and production issues.
• Develop a systems implementation strategy in collaboration with key business stakeholders.
• Create and/or coordinate project plans throughout the complete development lifecycle, including maintenance planning.
• Ensure the timely, accurate, and cost-effective implementation of systems.
• Support change management initiatives for the user community.
• Document, lead reviews, and secure formal approval for detailed functional requirements from business owners, development, and QA.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical training in business.
• Over 6 years of experience in a business functional area, specifically in ERP General Ledger systems.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
• PeopleSoft functional training.
• Experience in security administration.
• Strong knowledge of SQL.
• Comprehensive experience with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Experience with Java / .Net.
• SMLE level of business acumen across multiple functional areas, with expertise in at least one area.
• Extensive, in-depth knowledge of various enterprise applications.
• Familiarity with different system development and project management methodologies (OO, PMI).
• Understanding of the technical architecture of business applications and platforms.
• Ability to convey technical information to non-technical users.
• Skill in articulating business processes to technical resources.
• Proficiency in creating complex process flow diagrams or flowcharts to illustrate business or system process flow.
• Capability to effectively gather requirements, document them, and verify observations with business owners.
• Competence in performing fit/gap analysis based on requirements.
• Ability to develop detailed and thorough test plans for medium-sized initiatives.
• Knowledge of business systems software and the software development lifecycle.
• Proficiency in writing complex queries and reports.
• Ability to create a project plan that meets established deliverables and timelines.
• Capability to provide guidance to junior personnel and conduct training sessions.
• Skill in conducting meetings, gathering information, and presenting status updates.
• Successful completion of a background check is required.
