Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop detailed user stories and acceptance criteria by gathering and refining requirements.

• Manage and prioritize the product backlog in alignment with business objectives alongside Business stakeholders.

• Assist in sprint planning by defining and prioritizing tasks that contribute to incremental value.

• Maintain continuous communication with stakeholders to provide project updates and solicit feedback.

• Analyze business processes to uncover gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for enhancement.

• Work closely with the development team to design software solutions that meet business needs.

• Supervise testing and validation efforts to ensure solutions conform to established requirements and quality standards.

• Create and sustain comprehensive project documentation for development, deployment, and maintenance purposes.

• Encourage continuous improvement by identifying process enhancements and implementing Agile best practices.

• Assume additional tasks and responsibilities as needed to support team objectives and project success.

• Collaborate with developers, testers, product owners, and stakeholders to facilitate Agile software development initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, a technical discipline, or a related field is essential.

• At least 5 years of professional experience as an analyst is required.

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst in Agile environments, particularly within the SAFe framework utilizing JIRA.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Proficiency in software development processes, including requirements gathering, documentation, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• Experience with SAFe/Agile methodologies.

• Familiarity with the VA or other Government agencies.

• Ability to obtain government clearance.

• Selected candidates will need to complete fingerprinting at a government facility and undergo a background check.
