Senior Analyst, Business Financials

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Assess the potential financial implications of alterations in plan design by utilizing existing models or collaborating with internal partners.

• Assist in the creation of new tools and conduct user acceptance testing.

• Retrieve and analyze data through Excel, SQL, and SAS.

• Employ financial change order models to evaluate anticipated impacts on rebate guarantees.

• Collaborate with Sales, Analytic Consulting Services, Clinical Operations, Underwriting, and other teams to ensure adequate controls.

• Examine modifications to client benefit designs, formularies, and product implementations.

• Offer consultative analytical support to sales, underwriting, and underwriting analytics teams.

• Conduct client-specific analyses, discussions, and ad hoc reporting.

• Engage directly with external stakeholders and clients.

• Effectively and succinctly communicate analysis findings while adhering to requested deadlines.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in data analytics, finance, pricing, or process improvement, or a suitable combination of professional experience and education.

• Alternatively, at least 1 year of professional experience in data analytics, finance, pricing, or process improvement, including over 1 year of experience working with PBM data or in PBM financial analysis.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel-based analysis and SQL.

• Strong organizational, multitasking, and critical thinking abilities.

• Capability to clearly articulate analysis findings in a concise manner.

• Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced setting while managing tight deadlines and competing priorities.

• Previous experience collaborating across various groups within an organization.

• Experience in designing, implementing, and enhancing new business processes.

• Excellent presentation and communication skills, with experience presenting to diverse business groups.

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.

• Prior knowledge or experience in the PBM industry or pharmaceuticals is preferred.

• A Bachelor's Degree in finance, mathematics, operations, statistics, actuarial science, data science, economics, or other data-related fields is preferred.
