This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Collaborate with business units to convert their requirements into effective software solutions.
• Assist in the design, development, and deployment of solutions utilizing Agile software development methodologies.
• Deliver operational support for software solutions across the enterprise.
• Manage the software development lifecycle, encompassing business-needs assessment and technical documentation.
• Facilitate discussions on business and IT requirements and lead stakeholder review meetings.
• Identify functional gaps in software and explore opportunities for improvement.
• Work alongside product owners to develop product backlogs and user stories with defined acceptance criteria.
• Act as a technical subject matter expert during project implementations.
• Engage in scrum ceremonies, including daily scrums, sprint planning, backlog refinement, retrospectives, and reviews.
• Create and document process flows, technical requirements, specifications, diagrams, scenarios, mockups, and models.
• Provide Tier 2 application support and address internal support tickets.
• Diagnose, triage, evaluate risk, and assist with incident escalation.
• Oversee application customizations, dashboards, workflows, role-based access, and reporting.
• Collaborate with external vendors and internal technical teams regarding software requirements and production challenges.
• Maintain strong relationships with business units, technical teams, and vendors.
• Participate in on-call support for urgent after-hours issues or significant outages.
• A minimum of a two-year degree in Information Technology, Project Management, or Business Administration is required, or equivalent experience of 2 years.
• Equivalent work experience may substitute for the two-year degree requirement.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Information Technology, Engineering, Management, or a related field is preferred.
• A minimum of four years of experience in financial or health services, including technical business analysis, product development, and process enhancement.
• Experience in an Agile environment or within the Azure ecosystem (DevOps) is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with common financial industry concepts, practices, and standards is essential.
• Understanding of Credit Union products, services, operational protocols, and delivery channels.
• Excellent verbal communication, presentation, and technical writing capabilities.
• Strong analytical, technical research, planning, and organizational skills.
• Ability to apply logical reasoning when interpreting information.
• Experience with medium to large enterprise software systems and a rapid ability to learn new systems.
• Capability to analyze and document intricate technical business processes.
• Skill in making observations, assessments, evaluations, and recommendations.
• Proven ability to execute projects and guide team members in implementing upgrades and enhancements.
• Proficient PC skills.
• Understanding of Agile-based development methodologies.
• Capacity to multitask, perform under pressure, and meet stringent deadlines.
• Willingness to work extended hours, weekends, and respond to production issues as necessary.
• Ability to carry and respond to a cell phone seven days a week.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
• Occasional local, statewide, and national travel may be required.
