This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Collaborate with business units to convert their needs into effective software solutions.
• Aid in the design, development, and implementation of solutions utilizing Agile software development methodologies.
• Provide operational support for software solutions across the enterprise.
• Oversee the software development lifecycle, which includes documentation of business needs and technical process analysis.
• Facilitate discussions regarding business and IT requirements and lead stakeholder review meetings.
• Deliver analytical solutions and identify gaps in software, along with opportunities for improvement.
• Work alongside product owners to develop Agile product backlogs and user stories that include acceptance criteria.
• Serve as a technical subject matter expert throughout project lifecycles, from initiation to completion.
• Engage in scrum activities, such as daily scrums, sprint planning, backlog refinement, retrospectives, and reviews.
• Design, create, and document process flows, technical requirements, specifications, diagrams, scenarios, mockups, and models.
• Provide Tier 2 application support and resolve internal tickets efficiently.
• Troubleshoot issues, assist with triage, assess risks, and act as an escalation point for incident management.
• Manage application customizations, dashboards, workflows, role-based access, and reporting support.
• Keep application users updated on the progress and resolution of issues in accordance with service-level agreements.
• Coordinate with third-party providers and internal technical teams regarding software requirements and production challenges.
• Maintain strong relationships with business lines, technical teams, and vendors.
• Participate in on-call support for after-hours application issues or major outages.
• A minimum of a two-year degree in Information Technology, Project Management, or Business Administration is required, or 2 years of relevant experience.
• Equivalent work experience may substitute for a 2-year degree.
• A minimum of four years of experience in financial or health services, encompassing technical business analysis, product development, and process improvement.
• Familiarity with Agile-based development practices is essential.
• Experience in an Agile environment or the Azure ecosystem (DevOps) is highly desirable.
• Understanding of financial industry concepts, practices, and guidelines.
• Knowledge of Credit Union products, services, and operational guidelines.
• Exceptional oral communication, presentation, and technical writing abilities.
• Strong skills in research, technical analysis, planning, and organization.
• Capability to apply logical reasoning when interpreting data.
• Experience with medium to large enterprise software systems and the ability to quickly learn new systems.
• Proficiency in analyzing and documenting complex technical business processes.
• Ability to make observations, evaluations, and recommendations.
• Experience in executing projects and guiding team members in implementing system upgrades and enhancements.
• Strong proficiency with PCs.
• Willingness to work extended hours, weekends, or under on-call circumstances as required.
• Capability to carry and respond to a cell phone seven days a week.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. as necessary.
• Occasional local, statewide, and national travel may be necessary.
• Licenses/certifications: None required.
