Business Systems Analyst – Food Systems, Retail

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Assess business systems within the food systems and retail sector

• Implement business application analysis within a technical framework

• Collaborate with QSR/convenience store hardware and technical infrastructure, encompassing networks, firewalls, POS, and payment systems

• Convert technical concepts into clear instructions for development teams

• Lead changes in people, processes, and technology within a dynamic and intricate operational environment

• Engage and communicate effectively with IT teams and business stakeholders

• Facilitate conversations between technical staff and business personnel

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Business)

• Demonstrated experience as a Business Applications Analyst, ideally in a technical setting

• Comprehensive understanding of QSR/convenience store hardware and technical infrastructure (hardware, network, firewall, POS, payments, etc.)

• Outstanding communication and collaboration abilities

• Capability to distill technical concepts into concise directives for development teams

• Proficiency in effectively driving changes in people, processes, and technology within a dynamic and complex operational environment

• Competence in communicating and collaborating effectively with IT teams and business stakeholders, including facilitating discussions between technical and business staff

• Some experience with IT networks (routers, firewalls, etc.) is considered a plus

• Experience collaborating with franchises and restaurant companies is regarded as a beneficial asset
