Business Systems Analyst – Food Systems, Retail

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Assess business systems within the food systems and retail sector

• Engage with hardware and technical architecture specific to QSR/convenience stores

• Convert technical concepts into understandable directives for development teams

• Lead changes in people, processes, and technology within a dynamic and complex operating environment

• Collaborate and communicate effectively with IT teams and business stakeholders

• Facilitate conversations between technical and business personnel

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant area (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Business)

• Demonstrated experience as a Business Applications Analyst, ideally in a technical field

• Strong grasp of QSR/convenience store hardware and technical architecture, encompassing hardware, network, firewall, POS, and payment systems

• Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities

• Capacity to translate technical concepts into clear directives for development teams

• Competence in effectively driving people, process, and technology change in a dynamic and complex operational environment

• Proficiency in communicating and collaborating with IT teams and business stakeholders

• Capability to facilitate discussions between technical and business teams

• Some experience with IT networks, including routers and firewalls, is preferred

• Experience with franchises and restaurant companies is advantageous
