Business Systems Analyst – Food Systems and Retail

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

• Evaluate business systems within the food systems and retail sector.

• Implement business applications analysis in a technical context.

• Comprehend and assist with QSR/convenience store hardware and technical frameworks.

• Convert technical ideas into straightforward guidelines for development teams.

• Lead transformations in people, processes, and technology within a fast-paced and intricate operating landscape.

• Encourage dialogue between technical personnel and business representatives.

• Partner with IT departments and business stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a pertinent field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Business).

• Demonstrated experience as a Business Applications Analyst, ideally in a technical field.

• In-depth knowledge of QSR/convenience store hardware and technical architecture, such as hardware, network, firewall, POS, and payment systems.

• Some experience with IT networking, including routers and firewalls (preferred).

• Experience collaborating with franchises and restaurant organizations (preferred).

• Exceptional communication and teamwork abilities.

• Capability to articulate technical concepts into clear guidance for development teams.

• Ability to facilitate change in people, processes, and technology in a dynamic and multifaceted operating environment.

• Proficient in communicating and collaborating with IT teams and business stakeholders, including leading discussions between technical and business personnel.
