This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.
• Collaborate with the Director of Data Analytics as part of the Dashboard Building Team.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy dashboards throughout the agency using Power BI.
• Produce intuitive dashboards that convey KPIs and metrics, facilitating data-driven decision-making and evaluation of clinical outcomes.
• Engage in the dashboard development lifecycle, which includes data identification, retrieval, processing, cleaning, and modeling.
• Tailor dashboards to meet the needs of various organizational programs and projects.
• Maintain and refresh published dashboards regularly.
• Address user inquiries related to dashboard access or functionality.
• Manage confidential and sensitive information securely in accordance with agency policies and legal protections.
• Collaborate with agency personnel and the EHR manager and team to integrate EHR data.
• Provide training on dashboard usage and troubleshoot access or operational issues.
• Generate process documentation, procedures, and checklists.
• Support the development, monitoring, and updating of project schedules and plans.
• Travel between various sites as necessary.
• Previous experience as a business analyst in the healthcare sector.
• Proficiency in defining and measuring KPIs related to client or population health and healthcare service effectiveness.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, statistics, analytics, or a related field is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Required professional work experience; 1 to 2 years of experience in Business Systems is preferred.
• Familiarity with SQL databases, query development, and SQL Server Reporting Services.
• Knowledge of business intelligence applications and reporting technologies.
• Programming skills in R and/or Python are preferred.
• Ability to extract data from databases, spreadsheets, and data warehouses, integrating it into dashboards for real-time updates.
• Experience in developing dashboards using Power BI is preferred, or similar software such as Tableau.
• Must pass state-mandated background and DMV checks.
• Capability to work independently and adaptively under general supervision.
• Proficiency in a variety of software applications.
• Competence in using email, drafting documents, and electronically saving and retrieving files.
• Willingness to learn the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
• Proficiency in Word and other Microsoft Office applications is preferred.
