Business Systems Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Assess the business processes and systems of organizations.

• Work with cross-functional teams in an Agile setting to collect and document business requirements.

• Analyze and convert business needs into user stories that align with project objectives.

• Facilitate effective communication between business stakeholders and development teams.

• Collaborate with Quality Assurance and Engineers to review story requirements and confirm system functionality.

• Troubleshoot issues, perform impact analysis, and propose solutions.

• Review system enhancements with project stakeholders.

• Develop flow diagrams and document technical solutions.

• Keep up-to-date with best practices and trends in business analysis and Agile methodologies.

• Assist in the implementation and ongoing maintenance of business systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.

• At least 2 years of prior experience as a Business Systems Analyst or a similar technology industry role.

• Strong analytical abilities to gather, assess, and interpret complex data and business requirements.

• Capability to identify and address business challenges through innovative and practical solutions.

• Strong communication skills for engaging with stakeholders and presenting technical information.

• Proficient in gathering, documenting, and managing system requirements.

• Understanding of complex multi-platform applications, databases, and systems.

• Effective documentation skills for creating reports, manuals, workflows, and specifications.

• Ability to effectively manage tasks, timelines, and resources.

• Flexibility and adaptability to changes in project scope, requirements, or technology.

• Proven experience working within Agile methodologies and cross-functional teams.

• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and SharePoint.

• Experience with Agile principles is preferred.

• Prior experience in production support and troubleshooting is preferred.

• Background as a QA or Developer is preferred.
