Business Systems Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop comprehensive functional specifications for designated projects.

• Create test plans and test cases, as well as execute them.

• Investigate and analyze intricate data to guarantee precise functional design.

• Guide less experienced team members through application training, research analysis, and project methodology consultation.

• Act as the functional lead for complex projects and facilitate project team meetings.

• Organize and lead meetings, documenting and distributing meeting minutes.

• Collaborate with business clients to discuss application modifications related to enterprise initiatives, compliance/regulatory requirements, contractual obligations, or BAU maintenance.

• Engage in design discussions and document and deliver functional specifications.

• Assess business requirements for application user experience and provide feedback to clients.

• Review business requirements with technology teams.

• Coordinate and provide project estimates, timelines, and phases.

• Counsel on application impacts from enterprise-wide initiatives such as acquisitions or significant product/service changes.

• Partner with vendors and technical teams to comprehend functionality and offer implementation insights.

• Act as the test coordinator for large initiatives involving multiple applications.

• Document data mapping for system integration, conversion, and acquisition-related projects.

• Prepare test plans and scripts with testing teams and manage or execute test cases.

• Oversee specifications and change requests to uphold scope, regulatory compliance, business requirements, and technology standards.

• Document, review, and resolve change requests.

• Coordinate timely resolution and documentation of testing and implementation challenges.

• Manage post-implementation feedback, issue resolution, and actual-versus-planned timeline and financial debriefs.

• Comply with company risk, regulatory, and internal control standards.

• Escalate risk-related issues to management.

• Promote diversity and the Bank brand.

• Implement internal and external audit points and address issues raised by regulators.

• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• At least 6 years of combined higher education and/or operational/business analytics experience.

• Excellent understanding of the Bank's application framework.

• Familiarity with application development software and hardware platforms.

• Ability to comprehend supported businesses and terminology.

• Proficient in presenting effectively to all levels of management.
