Business Systems Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collect and evaluate business-system requirements in collaboration with stakeholders, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.

• Record business processes, functional requirements, and system specifications.

• Facilitate interviews, workshops, and surveys to delineate system functionality.

• Examine workflows to pinpoint opportunities for process enhancements.

• Guide system-design initiatives tailored to business necessities and technical specifications.

• Convert business requirements into functional specifications in conjunction with developers and technical teams.

• Supervise the implementation and integration of new systems within existing processes and technologies.

• Assist in the configuration, testing, and deployment of software solutions.

• Offer continuous support and address business-system challenges.

• Track system performance and identify areas for functionality and user-experience improvements.

• Conduct post-implementation evaluations and suggest enhancements.

• Provide training to business users and maintain system documentation.

• Lead or assist with cross-functional business-systems projects, adhering to scope, budget, and timelines.

• Deliver project-status reports to senior management.

• Collaborate with IT, Finance, and Operations teams.

• Analyze business data to facilitate informed decision-making.

• Create reports, dashboards, and business-intelligence tools.

• Ensure the accuracy and usability of system data.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

• Relevant certifications such as CBAP or CCBA are advantageous.

• At least 5 years of experience in business systems analysis or a similar field.

• Experience in system implementation and process enhancement.

• Proven experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions.

• Strong comprehension of business operations and technology.

• Capability to convert business requirements into system specifications.

• Familiarity with enterprise applications and business intelligence tools is preferred.

• Proficient in data analysis and data management.

• Experience with SQL, Excel, and reporting tools.
