Business Process Specialist, Employee Health & Benefits

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +12 more states.

📋 Description

• Design and enhance business processes, workflows, and data standards for Employee Health & Benefits.

• Collaborate with the Business Process Leader, national and regional representatives, and working groups.

• Establish standardized workflows across MMA utilizing available technology.

• Assist in configuring the agency management system (AMS).

• Document and maintain processes, procedures, and business process artifacts.

• Create reporting outputs and develop client deliverables.

• Develop and conduct training sessions for national and regional teams.

• Define requirements, redesign processes, and implement top-tier workflows.

• Work alongside training resources and stakeholders to pinpoint knowledge gaps.

• Assist with AMS onboarding and training requirements.

• Occasionally travel, including trips to off-site locations, overnight stays, and other operating companies.

• Occasionally work weekends in relation to scheduled migrations.

• Report directly to the Business Process Leader.

⛳️ Requirements

• Understanding of the insurance brokerage sector.

• Awareness of the effects and implications of decisions impacting business process design.

• Proven critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.

• Experience in process improvement and workflow best practices.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.

• Demonstrated success in following through on deliverables.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and leadership.

• Flexibility and adaptability to changing circumstances.

• 3+ years of experience in Employee Benefits (not mandatory, but preferred).

• Familiarity with CRM, AMS, and LMS systems such as Applied Epic, Salesforce, and Appinium (not mandatory, but preferred).
