This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as a trusted advisor and primary contact for member businesses and practices seeking strategic insights.
• Perform initial evaluations of business performance, focusing mainly on P&L analysis.
• Identify key opportunities and challenges in marketing, optical operations, and revenue cycle management.
• Facilitate connections between members and specialist advisors for targeted support.
• Work in collaboration with internal colleagues to provide education, resources, and tools.
• Review member P&L statements to evaluate business health.
• Detect patterns, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement in practice management, staffing, and optical operations.
• Present dashboards and reports that compare financial and operational metrics against industry benchmarks.
• Advise members on overall business strategies and suggest subsequent steps for in-depth analysis.
• Coordinate transitions and ensure continuity of support with specialized team members.
• Offer feedback and resources aimed at enhancing workflows, optimizing performance, and minimizing costs.
• Conduct research and formulate recommendations based on the needs of business units and practices.
• Analyze metrics and trends to provide data-driven insights.
• Lead or facilitate training sessions, present webinars, and create business content articles.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• A minimum of 6 years of experience in business operations, with significant exposure to optometric practices.
• In-depth understanding of all facets of an optometric practice.
• Capability to conduct business assessments and pinpoint areas for further analysis and/or profit improvement.
• Strong analytical and strategic problem-solving skills, along with effective decision-making abilities.
• Ability to foster cooperation, inspire others, and achieve results without direct authority.
• Strong business acumen to aid in envisioning work, strategic planning, and measuring outcomes.
• Exceptional verbal communication and presentation abilities.
• For remote positions, strong engagement in virtual settings, including maintaining camera presence during meetings.
• Compliance with information security and privacy policies is required; employees will have access to sensitive personal information.
