Business Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Accomplish the volume, share, and sales fundamental objectives set by principals, including merchandising, assortment, pricing, and shelving.

• Optimize company revenue through brokerage agreements, commissions, bonuses, and contest winnings.

• Convey principals’ priorities among retail sales, technology, marketing, business management, and retail selling teams.

• Report directly to the General Manager or Team Leader.

• Design, develop, and deliver Acosta presentations to new principals.

• Establish and nurture relationships with both principals and customers.

• Facilitate communication between General Managers and key principals.

• Collaborate on the introduction of new products, sales initiatives, and contests.

• Organize market visits and key account meetings.

• Create conceptual sales presentations that align with the objectives of principals.

• Offer insights on strategies, sales programs, and initiatives.

• Maintain account distribution data and evaluate market pricing reports.

• Gather and report on competitive activities.

• Oversee personal skill enhancement and disseminate information from customers and manufacturers.

• Adhere to client procedures, manage promotional plans and fund balances, and oversee financial deductions.

• Execute other assigned responsibilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience.

• Demonstrated success in sales, ideally within a food brokerage or national company.

• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, presentation, negotiation, and sales abilities.

• Capability to analyze sales and marketing data to create effective sales presentations.

• Proficiency in software applications that support the sales function.

• Willingness to travel.
