Business Management Specialist – Payment Networks

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +5 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee a varied portfolio of business management tasks for intricate or high-risk functional domains.

• Execute policies, processes, and initiatives that align with business management, strategy, and governance goals.

• Conduct data analysis and engineering.

• Manage initiatives that span multiple functions.

• Prepare communications and presentations for senior leadership.

• Lead specialized business management functions while directing the work of others.

• Undertake and complete complex projects that integrate cross-functional processes.

• Contribute to strategic direction and develop as well as implement business strategies.

• Plan, lead, manage, and oversee work activities across various areas.

• Spearhead the implementation of policies, processes, procedures, and changes across functional areas.

• Provide subject-matter expertise for enterprise and cross-functional projects, which includes identifying, designing, and testing solutions.

• Facilitate discussions with executives and provide thought leadership, roadmaps, strategic plans, deliverables, frameworks, and objectives.

• Advise management and leadership on industry trends, challenges, opportunities, and recommended actions.

• Manage relationships with corporate and control functions, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements.

• Assess risks and issues, escalate as necessary, and maintain risk management and control processes.

• Ensure business operations adhere to internal, external, and regulatory standards.

• Lead governance meetings, committees, action plans, and remediation initiatives.

• Identify opportunities to enhance productivity, effectiveness, and operational efficiency.

• Support team objectives, client services, and knowledge transfer.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.

• Over 7 years of relevant experience.

• Knowledge of the payment industry and card services.

• Experience in business and financial analysis and reporting.

• Oversight of network rules and operational compliance.

• Capability to evaluate network capabilities, contracts, and strategic opportunities.

• Ability to work with complex or high-risk functional areas.

• Experience in managing cross-functional initiatives.

• Proficiency in delivering communications and presentations to senior leadership.

• Ability to provide specialized knowledge, advice, and guidance to stakeholders.

• Willingness to travel domestically on occasion.

• Capability to perform sedentary work and use standard office equipment.

• Ability to maintain concentration for extended periods and comprehend written instructions.

• Proficiency in basic arithmetic calculations.
