Business Intelligence Manager, Consulting

📋 Description

• Oversee and enhance internal knowledge management resources, tools, templates, content, and materials.

• Create, maintain, and improve dashboards and reports focused on impact, demand, compliance metrics, and operational performance.

• Convert business requirements into actionable reports, dashboards, and data tools.

• Evaluate client, project, sector, and portfolio data to pinpoint trends, aiding consulting engagements, practice learning, and business planning.

• Administer client data, reports, and files to ensure data quality, consistency, and knowledge retention.

• Assist in the administration, analysis, and reporting of client outcomes and demographic survey data.

• Enhance data quality across Salesforce, Resource Hero, Power BI, and other related systems.

• Identify and rectify missing, inconsistent, or outdated data.

• Create training resources and provide guidance on data entry standards, system usage, and data quality.

• Maintain data governance documentation, guidance, and templates.

• Streamline templates, workflows, and processes to minimize errors and boost data integrity.

• Lead the development and ongoing enhancement of systems, reports, dashboards, data practices, and internal tools.

• Analyze practice and capacity management data to facilitate decision-making and implementation.

• Track and report on capacity, staffing, scoped work, hours worked, and consulting engagements and initiatives.

• Prepare practice management materials and oversee decision tracking, action items, and follow-up activities.

• Manage selected consulting projects and initiatives, including work plans, timelines, communications, deliverables, budgets, and closeout activities.

• Develop and oversee project plans to ensure timely completion of deliverables.

• Facilitate initiative setup and maintenance across Salesforce and related systems.

• Oversee tools and processes for initiative monitoring, staffing discussions, after-action reviews, closeout activities, and reporting.

• Monitor initiative progress, deliverables, staffing, budgets, hours, demographic data, and outcomes data.

• Identify areas for process, system, and policy improvements and propose solutions.

• Attend both internal and external meetings as required.

• Perform other duties as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or an equivalent combination of relevant education, training, and experience.

• Five (5) years of professional experience in business intelligence, data analysis, operations, project management, consulting operations, or a related discipline.

• Proven experience in developing and maintaining reports, dashboards, or data tools to support business operations and decision-making.

• Familiarity with data analysis, trend identification, and translating findings into actionable insights.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel along with experience using CRM, database, or reporting systems.

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey information to diverse audiences.

• Dedication to NFF's values, mission, and approach to community impact.

• Knowledge of CDFIs and their significance in nonprofit and community development finance.

• Proficiency in Salesforce, Power BI, Asana, or similar business intelligence and project management platforms.

• Capability to transform complex business inquiries into reports, dashboards, and decision-support tools.

• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a remote setting.

• Capacity to foster strong, trust-based relationships across various geographies and time zones within a highly matrixed organization.
