Business Intelligence & Insights Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Manage a portfolio of BI dashboards from the initial requirements gathering to implementation, maintenance, and enhancement.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to convert objectives into scalable analytical solutions.

• Develop and refine complex SQL queries to extract, validate, and analyze extensive datasets.

• Conduct data validation and quality control to ensure accurate and dependable reporting.

• Lead ad hoc analytical projects that provide actionable insights to business leaders.

• Work alongside Data Engineering to establish data requirements and enhance reporting infrastructure.

• Assist Commercial Analytics with datasets and analytical support for initiatives aimed at clients.

• Effectively manage analytical workstreams from conception to delivery with minimal oversight.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a similar analytical position.

• Bachelor's degree; preference for a STEM field.

• Proficient SQL skills, including the ability to query, transform, and validate large datasets.

• Extensive experience with a BI platform such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, Sigma, or a comparable tool.

• Familiarity with Snowflake, Postgres, or another modern cloud data warehouse.

• Advanced experience utilizing AI-powered tools and automation to enhance analytics, reporting, or BI workflows.

• Capability to independently manage projects and achieve results with minimal guidance.

• Strong business acumen linking analytical discoveries to business outcomes.

• Experience collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders in a dynamic environment.

• Preferred experience in a startup setting.

• Experience in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or patient claims data is a significant advantage.
