This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design and develop enterprise data warehouse solutions utilizing data warehouse methodologies, dimensional modeling, slowly changing dimensions, and fact table optimizations for healthcare analytics.
• Create and oversee SSIS ETL processes that integrate healthcare and financial data from diverse sources while ensuring data integrity and compliance.
• Generate analytical visualizations and dashboards using Power BI and paginated reports to facilitate clinical and financial decision-making.
• Convert healthcare stakeholder requirements into technical specifications and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with clinical, financial, and operational teams to grasp domain-specific needs.
• Manage several concurrent healthcare analytics projects and technical initiatives.
• Engage in Safe Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Conduct code reviews and collaborate using version control systems and established check-in processes.
• Maintain and enhance healthcare data warehouse solutions to ensure data quality, security, HIPAA compliance, and performance.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
• Stay updated on healthcare data warehouse, business intelligence, and healthcare analytics trends and technologies.
• Complete responsibilities outlined in the annual Performance Plan, special projects, and other assigned duties.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Healthcare Informatics, or equivalent professional experience.
• Advanced proficiency in data warehouse methodologies, including schema design, dimensional modeling, and data integration patterns applicable to healthcare analytics.
• Over 5 years of professional experience with Microsoft SQL Server for database design, development, and optimization.
• More than 5 years of hands-on experience in designing and implementing ETL solutions using Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Power Suite tools, including Power BI, Power Query, and Power Pivot.
• Strong foundation in healthcare data analysis and analytics.
• Understanding of healthcare business models, clinical workflows, and operations involving healthcare payers/providers.
• Ability to translate healthcare business requirements into technical solutions.
• Capability to effectively manage multiple concurrent projects and priorities.
• Experience with Safe Agile methodologies and frameworks within a professional development environment.
• Proficiency in version control systems and established code repository check-in processes.
• Experience with Oracle and/or Microsoft SQL Server; at least one must be demonstrated.
• Knowledge of healthcare data standards and compliance requirements.
• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations as they relate to data handling.
• Ability to provide a dedicated, secure work area.
• Ability to ensure high-speed internet access/connectivity and manage office setup and maintenance.
