This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Deliver specialized integration consulting, business process definitions, and integration services for the implementation of the Landis+Gyr Gridstream MDMS solution.
• Advise on standard interface alternatives to satisfy utility application integration needs.
• Configure, test, validate, and troubleshoot integration interfaces for Gridstream MDMS.
• Oversee projects utilizing Landis+Gyr’s OTA project lifecycle.
• Manage test environments for both internal and external customers.
• Develop and uphold the standard Landis+Gyr System Validation Test Suite.
• Define and delineate customer integration and functional requirements.
• Provide onsite assistance to customer technical teams.
• Compose documentation for system integration planning and implementation.
• Ensure that integration plans, schedules, and interfaces align with customer deployment requirements.
• Handle customer engagement, feature requests, requirements, and issue resolution.
• Suggest enhancements for MDMS interfaces and relay non-standard requirements to Product Marketing Management.
• Validate versioning and release-cycle alignment for partner vendors.
• Maintain data exchanges among vendor partners linked to client opportunities.
• Support data-exchange relationships involving AMI, CIS, bus architecture companies, and HAN providers.
• Consult on business process directives and propose Landis+Gyr solutions.
• Assess complex database architectures and evaluate solution feasibility.
• Create software definition requirements that correspond to customer functional, product, and testing necessities.
• Execute other assigned or necessary tasks.
• Represent the company in a positive light while adhering to corporate values, the Code of Conduct, and the Ethics Policy.
• Support health, safety, and environmental policy objectives and complete mandated OSHA/Safety Training.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
• Over three years of experience as a business analyst, in integration, and functional testing.
• Preferred five or more years of experience with MDMS.
• Exceptional communication, writing, and organizational abilities.
• Collaborative team player with strong problem-solving and project management skills.
• Robust leadership qualities and technical proficiency.
• Experience and expertise with SQL, XML, and SOA-enabled integration.
• Required working knowledge of Oracle RDBMS and SQL.
• Preferred familiarity with IEC-CIM 61968 Part 9 and Multispeak standards.
• Working knowledge of SOA-enabled integration via web services and JMS.
• Capability to see, hear, and speak in English.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, crouch, handle objects, and lift or move up to 10 pounds.
• Capacity to sit and view a computer screen for extended periods.
• Must be up-to-date with OSHA/Safety Training provided by the company.
• Ability to work while wearing required safety equipment, if necessary.
