This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nicaragua, +4 more countries.
• Manage a high-volume caseload for employment-based immigration independently, ensuring accuracy and strong client service.
• Prepare and submit non-immigrant petitions, including H-1B/H-4, L-1A/L-1B/L-2, TN, O-1, and E-3 cases.
• Assist with immigrant processes such as PERM, I-140 (EB-1A, EB-1C, EB-2, EB-3), I-485, and EB-2 NIW.
• Draft compliant support letters for O-1 and L-1A applications, articulating eligibility arguments effectively.
• Create basic H-1B letters and straightforward RFE responses.
• Prepare detailed responses for complex RFEs, NOIDs, and PERM audit inquiries, complete with organized exhibits and timelines.
• Maintain case tracking, calendars, and internal documentation to meet established deadlines.
• Engage directly with clients and stakeholders in professional written and verbal English, and Spanish when necessary.
• Provide proactive updates, identify risks early, and ensure the progress of cases without the need for constant follow-ups.
• Guarantee that all written drafts and client communications are expertly crafted and polished, avoiding reliance on AI-generated content.
• 2–3+ years of direct experience as a business (employment-based) immigration paralegal within a law firm or corporate immigration setting.
• Practical experience in preparing and supporting filings for H-1B/H-4, L-1A/L-1B/L-2, TN, O-1, and E-3 cases.
• Direct experience with PERM, I-140 (EB categories), and I-485 case support, including complex documentation workflows.
• Proven ability to manage a high-volume caseload independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong legal drafting capabilities, particularly in writing support letters and detailed responses to RFEs/NOIDs/PERM audits.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English for client interactions.
• Outstanding organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage deadlines in a high-output legal environment.
• Experience in drafting support and organizing evidence for EB-2 NIW cases.
• Knowledge of complex O-1 case strategy support, including evidence mapping, exhibit indexing, and narrative development.
• Familiarity with common immigration case management systems and disciplined tracking practices.
• Previous experience assisting multiple attorneys/clients simultaneously in a structured, metrics-driven workflow.
