Business Immigration Paralegal

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Manage a high-volume employment-based immigration caseload independently with precision and exceptional client service.

• Prepare and submit non-immigrant petitions, including H-1B/H-4, L-1A/L-1B/L-2, TN, O-1, and E-3 cases.

• Assist with immigrant processes such as PERM, I-140 (EB-1A, EB-1C, EB-2, EB-3), I-485, and EB-2 NIW.

• Draft compliant support letters for O-1 and L-1A applications, presenting strong eligibility arguments.

• Create basic H-1B letters and straightforward RFE responses.

• Prepare responses for complex RFEs, NOIDs, and PERM audit inquiries, including organized exhibits and timelines.

• Maintain case tracking, calendars, and internal documentation to ensure deadlines are met.

• Communicate directly with clients and stakeholders in both English and Spanish as needed.

• Provide proactive updates, identify risks early, and ensure cases progress smoothly.

• Guarantee that all drafting and client-facing communications are professionally polished and human-written.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–3+ years of direct experience as a business (employment-based) immigration paralegal in a law firm or corporate immigration setting.

• Practical experience in preparing and supporting filings for H-1B/H-4, L-1A/L-1B/L-2, TN, O-1, and E-3.

• Hands-on experience with PERM, I-140 (EB categories), and I-485 case support, including complex documentation workflows.

• Proven ability to independently manage a high-volume caseload with minimal oversight.

• Strong legal drafting capabilities, including support letters and detailed responses to RFEs/NOIDs/PERM audits.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English for client interactions.

• Outstanding organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage deadlines in a high-output legal environment.

• Experience with EB-2 NIW drafting support and evidence organization is a plus.

• Familiarity with complex O-1 case strategy support is advantageous.

• Knowledge of common immigration case management systems and disciplined tracking practices is desirable.

• Previous experience assisting multiple attorneys/clients concurrently in a structured, metrics-driven workflow is beneficial.
