This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nicaragua.
β’ Take charge of a high-volume employment-based immigration caseload with precision and exceptional client service.
β’ Prepare and submit non-immigrant petitions, including H-1B/H-4, L-1A/L-1B/L-2, TN, O-1, and E-3 cases.
β’ Assist with immigrant processes such as PERM, I-140 (EB-1A, EB-1C, EB-2, EB-3), I-485, and EB-2 NIW.
β’ Create compliant support letters for O-1 and L-1A applications, articulating eligibility arguments.
β’ Draft standard H-1B letters and uncomplicated RFE responses.
β’ Prepare detailed responses for intricate RFEs, NOIDs, and PERM audit inquiries with organized exhibits and timelines.
β’ Keep track of cases, manage calendars, and maintain internal documentation to adhere to deadlines.
β’ Engage directly with clients and stakeholders in professional written and verbal communication in English, and Spanish when necessary.
β’ Provide proactive updates, identify risks at an early stage, and ensure the progress of cases.
β’ Ensure that all drafting and client-facing communications are human-written and polished to a professional standard.
β’ 2β3+ years of hands-on experience as a paralegal in business (employment-based) immigration within a law firm or corporate immigration setting.
β’ Practical experience in preparing and supporting filings for H-1B/H-4, L-1A/L-1B/L-2, TN, O-1, and E-3 cases.
β’ Direct experience with PERM, I-140 (EB categories), and I-485 case support, including handling complex documentation workflows.
β’ Proven ability to independently manage a high-volume caseload with minimal supervision.
β’ Strong legal drafting capabilities, including support letters and thorough responses to RFEs/NOIDs/PERM audits.
β’ Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English for client-facing interactions.
β’ Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage deadlines in a demanding legal environment.
β’ Experience in drafting support and organizing evidence for EB-2 NIW cases.
β’ Familiarity with complex O-1 case strategy support, including evidence mapping, exhibit indexing, and narrative development.
β’ Knowledge of common immigration case management systems and disciplined tracking practices.
β’ Previous experience supporting multiple attorneys and clients simultaneously in a structured, metrics-oriented workflow.
