Bilingual Immigration Declarations Writer, Paralegal – English, Spanish

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia, +4 more countries.

📋 Description

• Drafting and collecting client declarations

• Preparing mid-level legal packets, which include cover letters, correspondence, and forms, while ensuring clarity, precision, and logical organization based on templates and case specifics

• Conducting research and gathering information

• Understanding and applying internal procedures

• Communicating with clients

• Engaging in collaborative teamwork

⛳️ Requirements

• Bilingual in English and Spanish

• At least 6 months of experience with humanitarian immigration cases (VAWA, T Visa, U Visa, Family-Based)

• Proficient in taking declarations and drafting legal documents

• Basic understanding of immigration legal documents, processes, and workflows

• Proven ability to write clearly, concisely, and accurately

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in both Spanish and English

• Strong command of written drafting, grammar, syntax, and legal style

• Ability to work effectively within a team

• Strong client communication abilities characterized by clarity, empathy, and professionalism

• High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy

• Capability to quickly adapt to new processes, workflows, and legal concepts

• Client-centered approach with sensitivity to humanitarian issues

• Analytical thinking skills and the ability to organize information logically
