This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Identify and cultivate a pipeline within the designated territory through cold outreach, networking, referrals, industry events, and market analysis.

• Assess opportunities based on requirements, budget, timeline, and the decision-making process prior to passing them on to the Director of Business Development.

• Achieve or surpass quarterly and annual lead-generation and pipeline-sourced targets, evaluated by the number of qualified meetings arranged and the value of the pipeline created.

• Facilitate smooth transitions by providing the Director of Business Development with detailed context, needs, and key stakeholders of prospects.

• Aid the sales process by drafting proposals, collecting competitive insights, and collaborating with operations, pricing, legal, and corporate departments.

• Create and implement territory prospecting strategies, pinpoint target verticals and accounts, and prioritize outreach efforts.

• Ensure accurate tracking in the CRM, maintain activity logs, and provide thorough documentation for hand-offs.

• Deliver market and competitive intelligence insights to leadership and corporate teams.

• Produce consistent quarter-over-quarter pipeline results and sustain a robust, accurately forecasted top-of-funnel pipeline.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years in outside, quota-bearing B2B sales or business development, showcasing a strong history in prospecting and lead generation.

• Experience in selling or creating opportunities within middle-market or large accounts that involve longer, multi-stakeholder sales processes.

• Proven discipline in cold calling and prospecting, with the ability to thrive without inbound lead flow.

• Proficient in CRM tools (such as Salesforce) and maintain strong habits in pipeline and activity management.

• A BA/BS degree is preferred; equivalent experience will also be taken into account.

• Self-driven and able to work independently with minimal daily supervision.

• Willingness to travel up to 80% within the assigned territory.

• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation abilities.

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Possession of a valid driver’s license.

• Candidates must reside in Texas.

🏝️ Benefits

• Opportunities for professional growth and development.

• Commitment to equal employment opportunity.

• Chance to cultivate talents and pursue professional interests.
