This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of a small portfolio of clients, fostering relationships and generating revenue within designated accounts.
• Identify, assess, and progress targeted opportunities from initial engagement to quotation and closure.
• Collaborate with the Sr. Manager of Magnet Sales to create account plans and pursuit strategies.
• Serve as the company's representative during customer calls, trade shows, and site visits.
• Ensure precise CRM records are maintained in Microsoft Dynamics 365 for accounts, contacts, opportunities, and activities.
• Document and monitor customer interactions, communications, and quoting activities in the CRM.
• Oversee customer contact databases, rectifying any missing or inconsistent records.
• Assist in onboarding new sales team members regarding CRM usage and best practices.
• Monitor open quotes and proposals, ensuring timely follow-up actions are taken.
• Keep quote logs and analyze hit rates, win/loss ratios, and turnaround times.
• Collaborate with Applications Engineering and Sales to provide accurate and timely quotes.
• Prepare proposal documentation, commercial summaries, and pricing analyses.
• Organize customer meetings, including agendas, logistics, presentations, and meeting minutes.
• Track action items from meetings and follow up to ensure completion.
• Coordinate customer site visits, handling scheduling, travel, itineraries, logistics, agendas, and presentations.
• Work with engineering, operations, and quality teams during site visits.
• Manage logistics for trade shows, webinars, event calendars, promotional materials, and post-event lead follow-up.
• Provide administrative and coordination support to Sales and Proposals teams.
• Generate reports, dashboards, and sales summaries for leadership review.
• Facilitate communication between Sales, Engineering, Marketing, and Operations departments.
• Oversee shared sales calendars, team travel arrangements, and scheduling activities.
• Assist with special projects assigned by the Sr. Manager of Magnet Sales.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in a sales, business development, inside sales, sales support, or sales operations role.
• A combination of relevant commercial experience will also be taken into account.
• Proven experience in managing CRM systems and ensuring data accuracy.
• Previous experience supporting or working with sales teams in an industrial, manufacturing, or technical setting is advantageous.
• Experience in coordinating trade shows, customer events, or corporate travel is highly desirable.
• Ability to work efficiently in a remote, distributed team environment.
• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail, capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, presenting a professional demeanor when interacting with customers.
• Proven ability to build relationships and advance customer opportunities directly.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in PowerPoint and Excel.
• Experience with CRM platforms; familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is preferred, while Salesforce or HubSpot is acceptable.
• Ability to develop polished, professional PowerPoint presentations tailored to specific customer audiences.
• Self-motivated and proactive, with a strong service-oriented approach.
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced startup environment with shifting priorities.
