Business Development Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership and expand an assigned territory or portfolio of accounts.

• Develop and implement a growth strategy based on account-specific plans for target operators.

• Meet annual bed growth objectives.

• Manage complete sales cycles from initial prospecting to final closure.

• Engage with stakeholders at the community, regional, and ownership levels.

• Create and maintain lists of target accounts, including senior living operators, communities, referral sources, and market influencers.

• Conduct proactive outreach through phone calls, emails, LinkedIn, networking, conferences, referrals, and in-person visits.

• Identify and assess the needs of operators.

• Clearly present and communicate the MMP value proposition tailored to specific personas, operators, and their needs.

• Establish and nurture trusted relationships with key decision-makers and influencers.

• Keep accurate records in CRM systems, including data on sales activities, opportunity stages, pipelines, and forecasts.

• Engage in pipeline reviews and discussions.

• Represent MMP at industry-related events, association meetings, conferences, and company-sponsored functions.

• Build a qualified pipeline through thorough pre-event planning and diligent post-event follow-up.

• Manage expenses in accordance with company policies.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required.

• Minimum of 2 years of progressive B2B sales experience.

• Experience in selling to senior living, long-term care pharmacy, or healthcare services organizations is advantageous.

• Proven, measurable track record of sales success as an individual contributor.

• Professional demeanor and executive presence in interactions with customers, prospects, industry partners, and internal stakeholders.

• Self-motivated, directed, and accountable with the ability to work with minimal supervision.

• Strong skills in presentation and negotiation.

• Willingness to travel approximately 50% within the assigned territory or portfolio, including occasional conferences and overnight stays as necessary.

• Excellent verbal, written, and listening abilities, with a talent for effective communication and influence.

• Highly organized and detail-oriented.

• Capable of managing multiple sales opportunities with competing deadlines.

• Must hold and maintain a valid driver's license.

• Must have appropriate automobile insurance.

• Access to a reliable personal vehicle that fulfills the job requirements is essential.
