This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Identify key decision-makers, develop engaging outreach strategies, and generate high-quality opportunities for the senior business development team.
• Conduct research to identify valuable enterprise prospects within the software development consulting sector.
• Create focused prospect lists while uncovering essential decision-makers and their business challenges.
• Implement strategic prospecting campaigns through various channels, including phone, email, LinkedIn, and others.
• Engage in discovery conversations to grasp prospect pain points, technological hurdles, and strategic priorities.
• Evaluate fit, urgency, and preparedness for engagement with senior business development personnel.
• Arrange high-quality meetings between qualified prospects and Senior Business Development Managers.
• Prepare comprehensive meeting briefings.
• Keep track of industry trends, competitor activities, and shifts in enterprise technology purchasing.
• Provide the team with market intelligence and insights into emerging opportunities.
• Collaborate with the Marketing team to enhance campaigns and messaging.
• Work alongside Senior BDMs to facilitate deal progression.
• Optimize prospecting strategies and improve conversion rates.
• Achieve daily and weekly activity targets as well as monthly outcome metrics.
• Report directly to the Head of Business Development while functioning as an integral part of the Business Development Team.
• Travel regularly to Leeds, Newcastle, and London.
• Early-stage career in business development (0–2 years).
• Driven and enthusiastic about a career in enterprise technology sales.
• Proficient in crafting compelling emails.
• Confident in conducting phone conversations.
• Capable of clearly articulating value propositions.
• Resilient and persistent in prospecting efforts.
• Skilled at utilizing LinkedIn, company websites, news sources, and databases for prospect research.
• Genuine interest in software development, enterprise technology, and the challenges faced by CIOs and CTOs.
• Organized and metrics-focused in pipeline management.
• Able to independently manage daily activities within a collaborative setting.
• Comfortable initiating discussions with CIOs and CTOs and asking insightful questions.
• Open and authentic communicator.
• Takes ownership of actions and personal development.
