This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.
• Identify organizations with significant business potential throughout Australia and New Zealand
• Research business contexts, initiate contact, and qualify opportunities prior to engaging the Regional Sales Manager
• Build a qualified pipeline in ANZ and generate valid meetings
• Define market segmentation, prioritize industries, establish account profiles, outreach strategies, and messaging
• Create a systematic and scalable approach to business development in ANZ
• Manage two active opportunities, ensuring clear next steps and ongoing progress
• Execute a re-engagement campaign across eight organizations that previously explored ERP solutions
• Attend biweekly regional and global meetings with the IFS alliance team
• Collaborate with Marketing on sector-specific messaging, campaigns, objections, market feedback, account-based activities, and events
• Ensure accurate account and opportunity data is maintained in Pipedrive for effective pipeline management and forecasting
• Participate in selected industry events and oversee business development from planning and targeting to post-event follow-up
• Review CRM data, tender portals, accounts, and opportunities for approximately two hours each week
• Uphold prospecting, qualification, and account-development activities in line with agreed monthly qualified-meeting targets
• Provide market insights to Sales, Marketing, IFS, partners, and advisors
• Prepare client-ready presentations and pipeline spreadsheets as part of the assessment
• Proven ability to work independently as the inaugural dedicated BDR in the ANZ business
• Experience or knowledge in a project-, asset-, or service-intensive sector
• Proficient in working independently with PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint
• Confidence in utilizing Excel to analyze and interpret commercial data
• Comfortable with PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint tools
• Capable of preparing a client-ready presentation autonomously
• Ability to prioritize tasks and make informed decisions without detailed daily supervision
• Competence in building and enhancing campaigns and outreach sequences
• Skilled in prospecting, qualifying, and developing accounts
• Capable of maintaining relationships with partners and advisors throughout extended sales cycles
• Knowledge of ERP, EAM, and FSM, along with the organizations that utilize these solutions
• Ability to keep accurate and complete data in the Pipedrive CRM
• Willingness to engage in industry events and manage follow-up campaigns
• Proficiency in English is required; level to be specified in the application
• Comprehensive business development technology stack: Pipedrive, Apollo, ZoomInfo, Outreach, Demandbase, LinkedIn Sales Navigator
• Regular structured support with a biweekly review with the Regional Sales Manager
• Clear opportunities for development toward Account Management or Regional Sales
• Direct collaboration with IFS both regionally and globally
