This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Conduct research, prospect, and qualify potential clients within a designated North America region.
• Take ownership of outbound pipeline development through strategic prospecting in target accounts.
• Initiate dialogues and nurture relationships through cold calling, personalized emails backed by research, LinkedIn outreach, and events.
• Collaborate closely with an Account Executive to prospect into important target accounts.
• Utilize sales and lead generation tools to identify prospects and engage them in multi-touch inbound and outbound sequences.
• Schedule discovery meetings for Regional Sales Managers that translate into pipeline opportunities.
• Conduct brief qualification meetings with website inquiries.
• Partner with marketing on monthly campaigns and both inbound and outbound initiatives.
• Propel the growth of Anecdotes’ customer base and create opportunities for the sales team.
• Located on the East Coast and available to work during “standard” business hours.
• Proficient in CRM and Sales Engagement platforms (e.g., Salesforce/Hubspot, Outreach/Salesloft, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Chili Piper, Nooks, Clay, etc.).
• Prior B2B sales experience, ideally in an outbound SDR/BDR role within a SaaS startup setting.
• Demonstrated confidence and consistency in cold outreach via phone, email, and LinkedIn.
• Experience in a remote work setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with the enterprise sales process, personas, and sales motion; proven success in meeting or exceeding targets.
• Experience or knowledge in the security & compliance domain; ideally with an understanding of GRC compliance.
• Knowledge of Cloud services, Application Development lifecycle, and Cloud Security.
• Detail-oriented and process-driven; adept at thriving in a demanding and high-volume business environment; strong time management abilities.
• Self-motivated and focused to effectively handle daily workloads in a remote setting with team members across varying time zones.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and sales, is vital.
• Positive attitude, highly organized, and strong work ethic; excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned territory once or twice per quarter.
