This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
β’ Drive sales growth and increase market share for BMO Insurance Wealth Products, encompassing Segregated Funds and Annuities, within the Managing General Agency (MGA) channel.
β’ Develop and implement a territory business plan aimed at achieving sales, asset growth, and advisor engagement goals within the MGA market.
β’ Establish and nurture relationships with MGAs, advisors, and key distribution partners.
β’ Identify and cultivate new business opportunities through prospecting, business development initiatives, and relationship management.
β’ Conduct meetings with advisors, deliver presentations, host workshops, and participate in industry events to promote wealth products and related solutions.
β’ Offer consultative sales support to assist advisors in positioning wealth products within retirement, estate, and wealth accumulation strategies.
β’ Provide product expertise, competitive insights, sales ideas, and market intelligence.
β’ Collaborate effectively with Marketing, Product, Operations, and Client Service teams.
β’ Monitor sales activities, market trends, and competitor developments to identify opportunities and guide business strategy.
β’ Represent the advisor's perspective by providing feedback on products, processes, technology, and service improvements.
β’ Generate territory and sales reports, manage pipeline activities, and support both regional and national business objectives.
β’ Implement BMO's Risk Management Framework in all business operations.
β’ Over 5 years of experience in business development, wholesaling, or sales within wealth management, insurance, asset management, or financial services.
β’ Strong understanding of Segregated Funds, Annuities, retirement income, and wealth accumulation solutions.
β’ Proven track record of building advisor relationships and driving sales growth within the MGA, independent advisor, and wealth distribution channels.
β’ Demonstrated success in identifying business opportunities, managing a territory, and meeting sales targets.
β’ Excellent presentation, relationship management, and consultative selling abilities.
β’ Capability to analyze sales data and market trends to uncover growth opportunities and deliver results.
β’ Familiarity with Canadian wealth distribution channels and CIRO-regulated advisor environments.
β’ A post-secondary degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
β’ LLQP designation is mandatory.
β’ CFP, CIM, CLU, CFA, PFP, RRC, or a similar industry designation is considered advantageous.
β’ Commission structure may be applicable.
