This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the sales strategy and execution for comprehensive due diligence services throughout the Midwest region.
• Generate new business opportunities related to commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, refinancing, sales, and development initiatives.
• Cultivate and enhance relationships with lenders, private equity firms, developers, property owners, REITs, brokers, and legal advisors.
• Position Bureau Veritas as the primary partner for evaluating environmental and property condition risks.
• Convert environmental and physical asset risks into practical insights that align with deal timelines.
• Collaborate with technical teams in environmental and building sciences to ensure accuracy in scoping, timely delivery, and high-quality results.
• Identify and evaluate high-potential prospects, transforming opportunities into enduring client relationships.
• Work alongside senior sales leadership to progress and finalize strategic opportunities.
• Develop and implement a sales plan tailored to the territory, including pipeline management, revenue forecasting, and target setting.
• Establish a prominent market presence across major Midwest hubs within the commercial real estate transaction framework.
• Stay informed about market trends, pricing structures, and competitive offerings.
• Travel throughout the Midwest, up to approximately 25%, for client engagements, site visits, and industry events.
• Promote environmental due diligence, building and property condition services, along with specialized and integrated services that support commercial real estate and infrastructure transactions.
• A Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) in a relevant field is preferred.
• 2–5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or client management within the domains of due diligence, environmental consulting, engineering, or commercial real estate services.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience will be accepted.
• Demonstrated experience in selling due diligence services (PCA, Phase I, Phase II, or similar consulting services).
• Strong knowledge of how environmental and physical risks influence deal execution and underwriting processes.
• Experience collaborating with stakeholders in commercial real estate (lenders, investors, developers, etc.).
• Capability to navigate complex, relationship-driven sales cycles.
• Established relationships in the Midwest are highly desirable.
