This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Formulate and implement a growth strategy for the territory aimed at generating new business across the United States.
• Identify, assess, and finalize opportunities with Departments of Transportation (DOTs), municipalities, counties, Metropolitan Planning Organizations (MPOs), engineering consultants, and systems integrators.
• Establish trusted relationships with key transportation decision-makers and provide insights on AI-driven traffic analytics.
• Oversee the entire sales process from prospecting to contract negotiation and closure.
• Partner with channel associates to broaden market reach and develop joint business initiatives.
• Conduct product demonstrations and effectively convey platform value to both technical and executive audiences.
• Work collaboratively with Solutions Engineering, Marketing, Customer Success, and Product teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Act as a representative for GoodVision at industry conferences, ITS events, and client meetings.
• Maintain an accurate sales pipeline while surpassing activity, pipeline, and revenue objectives.
• Minimum of 3 years of proven business development or sales experience in transportation technology, Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), traffic engineering, or related infrastructure sectors.
• Demonstrated success in a hunter role focused on creating opportunities rather than depending on inbound demand.
• Experience in selling to public sector transportation agencies, engineering consultants, or transportation technology providers.
• Strong comprehension of Transportation Systems Management and Operations (TSMO) principles.
• Pre-existing relationships with state DOTs, MPOs, local agencies, consultants, or within the ITS ecosystem are highly advantageous.
• Experience managing intricate, consultative sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders.
• Outstanding presentation, communication, and negotiation abilities.
• Capability to discuss technical solutions and translate complex functionalities into customer benefits.
• Self-driven, entrepreneurial, and capable of working independently in a rapidly growing environment.
• Willingness to travel approximately 30–50% within the assigned territory.
• Background in selling traffic analytics, transportation software, ITS solutions, video analytics, AI, computer vision, or smart city technologies.
• Knowledge of FHWA initiatives, TSMO programs, Vision Zero, roadway safety, or transportation planning.
• Experience collaborating with engineering firms such as Kimley-Horn, WSP, HNTB, AECOM, HDR, Jacobs, or similar entities.
• Established connections within state and local transportation agencies.
