This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more country.
• Drive the growth and long-term retention of Asset Optimization service agreements.
• Supervise existing Asset Optimization agreements to guarantee customer satisfaction, operational continuity, and contract performance.
• Manage and execute cross-functional internal project requirements related to Asset Optimization agreements.
• Broaden current accounts and seek new commercial opportunities in the renewable energy sector.
• Build and maintain relationships with project developers, asset owners, financiers, and investors.
• Develop business cases and commercial proposals that balance immediate revenue with long-term strategic and financial objectives.
• Enhance brand visibility and establish thought leadership through speaking engagements, webinars, articles in industry publications, and participation in trade shows.
• Lead commercial responses for RFPs, bilateral opportunities, and internal development submissions.
• Guide contract negotiations and facilitate deals through internal governance and approval processes.
• Manage key client relationships and map customer organizations, incentives, and decision-making frameworks.
• Identify customer and project challenges and escalate critical issues as necessary.
• Collect and analyze market insights and competitive intelligence.
• Maintain reports on pipeline activity and the health of key accounts.
• Oversee external resource budgets that support O&M Business Development initiatives.
• Perform other related duties as required.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field is required.
• A Master’s or advanced degree is preferred.
• At least 3 years of business development experience in the renewable energy sector (wind, solar) or O&M Services.
• Over 3 years of direct B2B sales experience with a proven track record in managing lengthy sales cycles, prospecting, and closing contracts.
• Professional fluency in English is necessary.
• Proficiency in French or Spanish is advantageous.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.
• Experience in crafting and delivering compelling presentations to varied internal and external audiences.
• Strong negotiation and influencing capabilities.
• Practical experience in drafting preliminary contract terms and overseeing detailed RFP/RFQ submissions.
• Ability to build trust and foster engagement throughout all phases of the project lifecycle.
• Proficiency in CRM platforms.
• Advanced skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat.
• Willingness to travel 25% of the time.
